Norovirus Update for the 2025-2026 School Year

As winter approaches, circulation of both gastrointestinal and respiratory viruses typically increase. Gastrointestinal virus, such as norovirus, and respiratory virus, COVID-19, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can spread quickly in school settings.

ELA & Math Testing Schedule for grades 3, 4, 5

Each spring, students take the computer-based English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics tests in grades 3-8 and the Science tests in grades 5 and 8. These tests are used to measure how well students perform on New York’s Next Generation Learning Standards ELA1, Math2, and Science.
